Hi! I'm Kimberly, wife to Phil and mama to two precious babies, Cole (2.5) and Annie (11 mos.) I am living out my dream of being a stay-at-home mom, and I believe from the bottom of my heart that this is where God wants me to be. Spending time with my family, a big 'ole glass of wine at the end of the day, decorating for Christmas, a good political debate, and taking pictures of my babies are a few of my favorite things. I am learning to cook for my born and raised in New Orleans "foodie" husband and my incredibly picky two year old. I find so much joy in the every day routine of raising little ones, and I am all about a good schedule for my babies (more about that to come in the blog!) It is not always easy or pretty, but my heart is SO full. I hope sharing bits and pieces of my journey as a mom will encourage other moms in some way during this crazy season of life. I am so excited to share my family with you!
Meet my husband, Phil. Phil is from New Orleans and might be the biggest LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints fan you have ever met. He is a financial advisor and loves his job (almost as much as he loves his Tigers and Saints!) Phil has the most passionate, giving heart. I am so thankful he works so hard and allows me to be home with our babies. He is the BEST Daddy to Cole and Annie.
Cole, our two year old, has personality for days. He is seriously the most full of life little spirit I have ever encountered. Thank goodness he is so charming, because he is also the most strong-willed, stubborn little boy. He makes me laugh and also wears me out on a daily basis. I wouldn't trade his personality for anything (even though he may be the reason I love my big 'ole glass of wine at the end of the day! ;) )
Annie Grace balances our little family out perfectly with her calm, sweet spirit. She really is the happiest, most content baby ever. I am amazed daily at how calmly she handles her brother and still adores him (even though most of their interactions consist of him tackling her and taking her toys.) God knew what he was doing when he placed this sweet little angel in our family. She made the "two-under-two" phase much more do-able for this mama, and for that I am so thankful!
Love this and it's so true. You're such a good mommy to those little ones!
